Nanoelectronics & Mechanobiology
Vol. 2 No. 1 (2026)This Special Issue explores the rapidly converging fields of nanoelectronics and mechanobiology, highlighting how nanoscale electronic devices can probe, modulate, and decode biomechanical signals in living systems. We invite contributions on innovative nanoelectronic sensors, mechanotransduction mechanisms, bio-interface engineering, and nano-enabled diagnostics or therapeutics. Studies that integrate mechanical forces with electronic functionality to uncover cellular behavior, enhance biomedical imaging, or develop smart responsive systems are especially encouraged. By bridging engineering, physics, and life sciences, this issue aims to advance next-generation tools and concepts for understanding and controlling mechanobiological processes.
