As an open access journal with no subscription charges, a fee (Article Processing Charge, APC) is payable by the authors, or their institution or funders, to cover the costs associated with processing for publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone.

Publication Fee Waiver & Discount Policy

Science Act is committed to promoting equitable access to scientific publishing. To ensure that financial limitations do not hinder the dissemination of high-quality research, the journal offers full or partial waivers of publication fees for authors who demonstrate financial need. Waivers or discounts may be granted to researchers from low- and middle-income countries, early-career scientists without institutional support, or authors supported by limited funding. Applications for fee assistance are assessed on a case-by-case basis and do not influence editorial decisions. This policy reflects our mission to advance global scientific knowledge without economic barriers.

Funding Statement

Science Act Flagship Journal Program

All accepted articles are eligible for full publication funding under the Science Act Flagship Journal Program. Funding support is guaranteed for manuscripts published before 2027, ensuring that authors face no article processing charges and can benefit from broad dissemination of their work. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting high-quality scientific research and fostering global accessibility to new knowledge.

Global Access & APC Support Program

Science Act provides automatic APC waivers and discounts based on global economic classifications, following a structure similar to major international publishers. Authors from eligible countries receive either a full waiver or a 50% discount without needing to apply. This ensures equitable access to scientific publishing and supports global research participation.
