Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- By submitting their manuscript to Science Act, the author(s) acknowledge and agree that, upon acceptance for publication, they are responsible for the payment of the applicable Article Processing Charge (APC).

Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Science Act, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Name, institutional affiliation, email address, and ORCID iD for authors, reviewers, and editors.
- Contact and professional information provided during manuscript submission, editorial correspondence, or peer review.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and website usage data.
- Information voluntarily submitted through online forms, correspondence, or other communication with Science Act.
Purpose of Data Collection
Personal information is collected and processed for legitimate publishing, editorial, administrative, and legal purposes, including:
- Manuscript submission, processing, and editorial correspondence.
- Coordination and administration of peer review.
- Publication and indexing of accepted scholarly articles.

Science Act does not sell or otherwise disclose personal information to third parties for their independent commercial purposes. Information may be shared where necessary with:
- Service providers that support manuscript submission, journal management, website operation, scholarly communication, or indexing.
- Governmental, regulatory, or legal authorities where disclosure is required by applicable law.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.
