Abstract

Nanoelectronics and the environment are increasingly interconnected as advanced nanoscale technologies offer both challenges and solutions to environmental issues. Nanoelectronics devices, such as sensors and transistors, enable real-time monitoring of pollutants, water quality, and atmospheric conditions with high sensitivity and low energy consumption. Furthermore, nano-enabled green technologies contribute to renewable energy systems, including efficient solar cells and energy storage. However, concerns remain regarding the environmental impact of nanomaterials during production, usage, and disposal. Responsible design, life-cycle assessment, and regulations are essential to ensure sustainability. Integrating nanoelectronics with environmental systems holds promise for creating smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable technological futures.
